Advanced Defensive Firearms Training is an excellent way to build upon and improve your safe gun handling, marksmanship, and tactics, while developing your personal shooting skills. Everything is taught from a defensive perspective and reinforces firearm safety as an integral part of tactics.
Defensive Pistol Part A
This course will focus on movement, close quarter combat and defenseive pistol techniques.
Course Requirements:
A reliable combat/concealed carry pistol with at least 3 magazines.
A quality holster and belt. (Magazine pouches are optional)
Your holster must attach to your belt securely. Only strong side and appendix carry are permitted for training.
300 rounds of good quality factory ammo.
Hearing and eye protection.
Approximate run time of 4 to 5 hours. Both cardbaord and steel targets are used in this course.
Must be able to move unencumbered and jog/run without issue.
No prerequisite courses needed.
Defensive Pistol Part B
This course will focus on use of cover, multi-target acquisition and shooting from unconvetional postitions.
Course Requirements:
A reliable combat/concealed carry pistol with at least 3 magazines.
A quality holster and belt. (Magazine pouches are optional)
Your holster must attach to your belt securely. Only strong side and appendix carry are permitted for training.
300 rounds of good quality factory ammo.
Hearing and eye protection.
Approximate run time of 4 to 5 hours. Both cardbaord and steel targets are used in this course.
Must be able to get on the ground and back up without assistance.
No prerequisite courses needed.
AR 15 Carbine
This course will focus on shooting positions, use of cover, movement and multi-target acquisition.
Course Requirements:
A reliable AR 15 type rifle with at least 3 magazines. (10/30 magazines are preferable)
Rifle must have a sling. (2 point sling is preferable)
Rifle must have either iron sights or a 1x capable optic.
A reliable combat/concealed carry pistol with at least 3 magazines.
A quality holster and belt. (Magazine pouches are optional)
Your holster must attach to your belt securely. Only strong side and appendix carry are permitted for training.
300 rounds of good quality factory rifle ammo. (no steel case or green tip ammo is allowed)
100 rounds of good quality factory pistol ammo.

This course will focus on flashlight techniques, shooting in transitional lighting, movement and target identification.

Your holster must attach to your belt securely. Only strong side and appendix carry are permitted for training.
300 rounds of good quality factory ammo.
A handheld flaslight.
Hearing and clear eye protection.
Recommended Equipment;
A weapon mounted light.
Night Sights or an Optic
A backup handheld light with spare batteries
A headlamp with red/green light capabilities.
